How to wash and care for modern cloth nappies

Before use: Prewash at 40-60ºC. 3 to 4 washes for maximum

absorbancy.

Laundry instructions

STEP 1: DRY PAIL

a.    Soiled? Remove solids into a toilet
b.    Smelly wee? Quickly rinse in cold water.
c.    Separate inserts from nappy before placing in a dry pail. Do not soak.

STEP 2: MACHINE WASH

a.    Cold prerinse in washing machine without detergent (30C or less)
b.    Warm machine wash 40-60ºC
c.    Use 1/3 to 1/2 recommended dose of detergent, no enzymes, no bleach, no softeners, no soap flakes.

STEP 3: DRY & SET UP

a.    Line dry in sun (kills germs / stain remover).
b.    Occasional cool dryer is okay.
c.    Once dry, resnap or restuff nappies before reusing.
